Cafepress has entered into an agreement with ABC and the producers of the hit TV series LOST, allowing fans to create LOST-inspired t-shirts and merchandise. Being fans of the show, this was great news for us and Manz and Dave have been busy creating some designs. You can check out our page of designs here – prices have been set lower than the Cafepress Marketplace prices, so shop directly through GritFX and save some dollars. More designs will be available in the next fortnight. Towards the end of the series, GritFX will be running a competition for readers to win a “LOST Pack” – details of which will be posted here on the Magazine in the coming months.
As for me – well, after having devoted five years of my life to LOST, I’m eagerly anticipating the Final Season. Knowing the end is in sight is kind of a relief, because let’s face it, the writers of LOST have kept us biting at the hook, opening more questions and giving fewer answers as the show progressed. The amount of times a character has asked what the hell is happening on the island and has been met with silence by another character are too numerous to mention. Likewise, if I had a dollar for every time I have yelled at the TV screen “Tell ‘em what’s going on!”, well, you get the picture…
For me, the mythology of the show was always the most interesting part. Sure, we all love the characters, but it is the mystery of the island, the Dharma Initiative and connections of the characters with each other that has been the killer attraction. The producers have stated that the final season will be very different, and that more focus will be on character, leaving me wondering if all loose ends of the mythology will be tied or simply ignored and left a mystery. Which, frankly, will suck. It is the only season of LOST that has featured no advanced sneak peeks at conventions or on the web – the direction of the last season is itself a mystery. But we’ll all find out this week when LOST finally comes back on air. Namaste…

I shall be ordering a Dharma T Shirt. Can’t wait for the final season
Yeah, biting at the hook is right. I think they’ll wrap up all the loose ends though, the producers promised that, and being the gullible one that I am, trust them. They haven’t disappointed me yet.
Love those designs, you guys are truly talented and creative. Are there going to be more? Maybe one featuring “Namaste”? heh, maybe with Sawyer (sorry, La Fluer) throwing up a peace sign?
Great stuff ya’all!
