It’s spring in Australia, and all around us the birds and bees are putting on a good show!!
My favorites are the family of swallows which are nested just outside my bedroom. The birdy couple are there every spring and this year they’ve outdone themselves with an offspring of four – I could say 3 and a half as one is the tiny runt of the nest!
Love those birds and bees….. and I’m especially charmed by the first photo – the one little bird setting herself apart from the others and demanding to be seen. Happy Spring.
Wonderful series, Manz! Is that lavender that the bee is pollinating? Happy Spring to you.
They look like they might be a little hungry!
Terrific shot!
With 45 degrees in my world today I wish we were going into spring instead of winter….

hi, you asked what the best time to visit the Netherlands would be. Hmm, I would say Spring/Summer, from about May to August or even September I think. You can never be sure if the weather is nice over here, but then you have the best chance to see some sun and not too much rain. Have you ever been in the Netherlands? I somehow remember that you’ve mentioned you visited ‘us’, but I could be wrong. I’m a bit confused these days because of the Lyme thing. At least, that is my excuse 😉
just to prove how confused I am lately, I can’t even type my own website address correctly 😉
